This time we thought that it was best to make some “normal” type cakes, instead of our past attempts at ridiculous colours or comic book hero cakes. So a return to straight forward cupcakes was on the cards.

It was never going to end that way though really, not when i spied chocolate chips in the shop next to the flour! :D

While making the cakes, those chips were always in the back of my mind, which then led to me making my hedgehog cupcakes! :)

These were the best cakes we’ve made so far. Our past cakes have had loads of food colouring in them so they were probably made from 75% E numbers which i’m guessing would alter the taste of the sponge. Not this time…
