I feel like i’ve been neglecting this blog for the past few weeks, in favour of blogging over on my new project… ‘Deaf Pigeon‘. This is something that i thought i should get sorted out and fast, so here is a quick update to what’s been happening.

Couple of excuses, one being that it was my birthday last week. Just turned 22… (feel’s no different – not going to lie) and the other excuse that coincides with my birthday is that i’ve had a couple of weeks off work and decided to spend it in the fresh air.

Didn’t really do anything special at all. Just sort of chilled out with the girlfriend and rode my bike as much as i could. Naturally. One thing being a mega bonus was that the weather was quality for pretty much the entirety of my holiday.

DOWNSIDE:
Woke up on the my birthday (Last Saturday) and i couldn’t hear anything at all from my right ear, literally nothing apart from the most annoying ringing that i’ve ever heard!! LOUD!! So me thinking it would just go away on it’s own, just thought i’d leave it be and try to sleep it off… NOPE… got so bad that on the Sunday, i thought it best nipping to A+E (later on at night so that it was quieter) and they referred me straight away in the morning (Monday) for an appointment with the E.N.T clinic (Ear, Nose & Throat).

Not going to lie, pretty much one of the most uncomfortable/painful things i’ve ever endured! Hated every second of it… i’m not the squeemish type when it comes to ears, i mean after stretching to 42mm, my ears are already messed up, but seriously, an ear syringing is horribly, horribly uncomfortable.

The doctor then proceeded to give my airways a complete once over, and by once over i mean he decided to stick some crazy fibre optic camera up my nose and through the passages in my face… this time i experience uncomfort AND pain!!

Needless to say, i can still hear a ringing and i haven’t got my hearing back fully! Which i’m pretty gutted about!

DOWNSIDE NUMBER 2:
During my time off, Pencil In (my band), decided to call it a day… pretty gutted about that aswell :( it had been a big part of my life for the past couple of years and we made some good music (in my opinion), and it sucks a bit that we couldn’t carry it on, but that’s the way stuff goes i guess… hopefully there may be something new on the horizon, but who knows.

So yea, in conclusion, apart from the 2 downsides, i’ve had a pretty good time recently, and i’m looking forward to the rest of this year. Should hopefully be getting a brand new ‘Shiny Shiny’ in the next couple of days, so i’m planning on productivity going through the roof!

Anyway, this has been a pretty long post, so if you’ve read the entire thing, i thank you…

I’ll give this blog some more attention from now on, and i should be updating the main site very soon with some new work and just some general housekeeping, etc…
