It’s been a while since i’ve done one of these. Not because the images that i’ve found have been necessarily bad or anything, just because i’ve been pre-occupied with other things (blog post to come soon).
Take a look over these random finds. Mostly bikes (what’s new?)… Thanks again to Jasper for creating Allyouseeis.me! It’s amazing!
Small things
It’s been too long since i had some vanilla coke… i was informed this dinnertime by the knowledgable Danny Cameron and Ben Pearson that there was a shop in Preston town that sold this drink! Needless to say that i was going to go and purchase some.
It was a tad expensive at £1.25 per can, but i can’t argue when it’s Vanilla Coke, i would almost pay anything for that drink. While i was there i also picked up a Butterfingers bar and a can of MTN Dew (the original one, not the UK ‘Energy’ version) which all in all came to £4.50… Pretty expensive for a snacky type lunch :D
Brontide – Sans Souci
It’s been ages since i’ve actually been spoilt for choice when it comes to bands to listen to, but recently with the addition of my other musical based blog post last week, there’s been 3 bands release 1 EP and 2 Albums between them.
My most recent download has been Brontide’s first full length album which is named ‘Sans Souci’… According to the internets, this translates to ‘without worries’.
Music you need in your life
A week or so ago, my new band Yachts, supported the awesome Enemies at the Mad Ferret in Preston (cheers Ed), and they played their newest song ‘Coco Et Moi’. If you’ve got a musical ear, you need this song in your life and it’s so worth the money. Not only that, the cover art looks amazing in iTunes :) Get on over to their bandcamp NOW!! There’s another song with that download aswell called ‘Robert Reid’ which is amazing, 2 awesome songs for literally no money!
And if that wasn’t enough to keep you going, ASIWYFA dropped their new album last wednesday which you can listen to over on their Bandcamp. It’s been named ‘Gangs’ and it’s stunning! As an album it’s genius and if you listen to single songs, it’s equally as brilliant. I need to listen to this a bit more because it’s coming close to being their best to date (in my opinion). Get this bought aswell!
Support Richter Collective and support 2 of Irelands greatest bands!
