This is a little taste of something very special coming pretty soon. My band Yachts. have finished recording our first demo EP and it needed some tasty artwork to go with it.
It contains 3 songs, all beginning with ‘S’.
We’ll be getting all of the internets soon and hopefully releasing it out to the world early August. So happy with how the first press of the demo sounds, just a couple of little minor tweaks and then we’re good to go.
A couple of weeks ago, me and my good friend of the internets, Jasper Tandy, submitted a couple of photographs to try and get featured in Burst Magazine for Issue 6 which had the title ‘Photography’.
We both got informed last week that we’d both got in and today the magazine was released. Head over to Burst Magazine’s site to download the PDF!

What an awesome day!
I’ve been looking into customising my Samsung’s “homescreen”, with Android and ADW.Launcher this is so easy. It was almost too easy, that i started doubting the ease of the process.
Saying that, i have found some things that i can’t do without installing a full theme which is slightly annoying but hey-ho, there’s always a way around these problems.

Facebook comments for WP plugin with specific thumbnail
Deaf Pigeon doesn’t use the standard wordpress comments form because i opted to use the ‘Facebook Comments for WordPress‘ plugin. It works perfectly, right up until you want a specific image to pull through to the users wall with the Like button. Or when you directly share a blog post on Facebook.
It drove me mad trying to figure it all out, but i’ve finally done it. Click through to see how i did it and grab the code if you need to.
